If we carpool, gas donations are welcome.  If we carpool, please be willing to go with the flow. If you have a specific departure time, please feel free to create your own itinerary.  Please know that by joining us you claim responsibility for your own being and outcome of the excursion.  Text us to let us know you are coming or we can car pool.  We look forward to being in nature with you.  You may notice that there are a few TBD's.  Lora and I would love to share the excitement of choosing our destinations so we left the details open so we can go with the flow.

Suggest Equipment: Hiking boots, waterproof, rip proof outdoor pants, poles, water

March 15th - Sleepy Hallow  Leave SJ  from I Am. 11am

April 19th - PJ Hoffmaster State Park. 3mi hike and time on the beach. Leave SJ  from I Am.  9 am

May 17th  - Belle Isle Visit Leave SJ  from I Am.  8 am.  

To enter Belle Isle Park by vehicle, a Recreation Passport is required for both Michigan residents and non-residents. Michigan residents can obtain an annual pass for $14, while non-residents can purchase a one-day pass for $11 or an state annual pass for $40. Entry is free for those walking, biking, or using public transportation.  We will be visiting the Aquarium, Nature Center  & the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory.  Each has a suggested donation of $5.  Please wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing.  Bring a picnic lunch.  Families are welcome.
